Minxi Daily | Interview with Chen Wenhuai, Chairman of Fujian EDL

   In a high-altitude interview held by the Minxi Daily with the theme of "Accelerating the development of new quality productivity and promoting new industrialization in Longyan", Chen Wenhuai, Chairman of Fujian EDL Electronics Co., Ltd., raised three major topics: technological innovation, industrial coordination, and financing support, and shared his practices and explorations on how to cultivate and expand advanced manufacturing clusters.

   Chen Wenhuai introduced that Fujian EDL Electronics Co., Ltd. is a specialized and innovative enterprise with a full range of small and medium-sized display screens. Since its establishment in Shenzhen in 2010, it has focused on the development and production of monochrome screens, TFT display modules, OLEDs, and HMI human-computer interaction modules.

   In 2019, EDL expanded its investment in Wuping, Fujian, and gradually formed a business operation model with Fujian Company as the main operating entity, and established sales and R&D windows in first- and second-tier cities at home and abroad. At present, the company has a factory of more than 2,000 square meters in Wuping, with a total investment of more than 200 million yuan, and has the ability to produce various high-end display products.

On the road of rapid development, Chen Wenhuai said frankly that if Longyan's industrial enterprises want to go faster, more steadily and further, they must have a group of enterprises that can match world-class product capabilities. He called on the government to increase support for Wuping's new display industry, build a supply chain model, and promote the vigorous development of Longyan's electronic information industry.
